Avweld offer a range of high-quality metallic coatings for abrasion and corrosion prevention. Materials include chrome oxide, tungsten carbide, chrome carbide, super stainless and aluminium-bronze. These materials can be applied by DC-Plasma, HVOF, HVAF, or twin-wire arc spray. This broad range of materials and application processes mean that we are able to provide the right solution for all of your roll wear and corrosion problems. High quality materials and processes, with zero porosity on some coatings, mean that your rolls will be running longer between grinds. Large capacity means we can spray any roll in Australia, in our workshop. Our “Total Rolls Solution” means that we do everything in-house, including comprehensive testing and reporting. Our machining and grinding workshops are amongst the best in the country. With a combination of HVAF spray, diamond grinding and super-finishing, we are able to achieve an optical mirror finish when required.
